Turkey Trot 2011 is now over and we had over 1800 total participants. This is a 100% volunteer run where 100% of the proceeds go straight to the Principal’s Checkbook program. Lot’s of kids are helped because of you! We’ll report the total donation soon.

Thanksgiving Morning

November 24, 2011

Race Time: 9:00 am

Polar Bear Swim: 10:00 am

All proceeds and fundraising will support the Principal's Checkbook, a local program that helps disadvantaged kids in our schools.

Join us for family fun and participate in many ways:

The Turkey Trot is a family-friendly 5K Run/Walk or 10K Run along the beautiful Salmon Creek Trail, starting and ending at Klineline Pond in Vancouver, WA.

Due to huge race demands in the past, we are limiting the 2011 race to 1000 pre-registered participants. We will take 100 more walk-up registrations on the day of the race, though these individuals will not be guaranteed a race shirt. All others who miss registration are encouraged to "bandit" run the race. In other words, come on out and run/walk with us. You will not be timed and you will not receive a race shirt, but you can participate. All participants are encouraged to donate to the Principal's Checkbook — a local program that helps disadvantaged kids in our schools.
