Waiver and Release of Liability for Vancouver Turkey Trot. I know that running/walking is a potentially hazardous activity. I understand that I should not participate in the Clark County Turkey Trot unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of the event organizer relative to my ability to safely complete the race. I assume all risks associated with running/walking in this event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants or spectators, the effects of the weather and conditions of the course, all risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of you accepting my entry. I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release, the City of Vancouver, Clark County Washington, First Independent Bank, the New Heights Foundation, employees, all participating sponsors and directors, volunteers, their representatives and successors from all claims or liability of any kind arising out of my participation in this event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons and entities named in this waiver, I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use my name, likeness and identity in any photographs, motion pictures, recordings of any other record of this event for any legitimate promotional purpose.
