Principal's Checkbook
The Principal's Checkbook is a program available to area public school principals to help students whose families are facing financial hardship. All money raised from the Turkey Trot goes directly to this program to supply disadvantaged students with basic supplies, healthcare, and educational opportunities. In 2008, over $3,000 was contributed. Last year, 2009, we were able to donate all race fees and other contributions totally over $9,000!

Please convey to our benefactors that we are most grateful to them. Their generosity allows us to aid our students with a few basic necessities that they wouldn't receive otherwise. Every year, schools are expected to do more than provide a solid educational foundation. We are seen as a resource for food, health supplies, and basic necessities, some of which comes from the monies you have provided....Once again, thank you.
